WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – A beloved member of the Walnut Ridge community has passed away.
Daniel Abbott, who served on the Walnut Ridge City Council, passed away Saturday, according to his twin brother, David. He passed away Saturday afternoon after battling health woes for many months.
“Daniel was a friend and an excellent spokesman for the residents of Walnut Ridge,” Mayor Charles Snapp wrote on the city’s Facebook. “More importantly, he shared the vision for a better quality of life for Walnut Ridge, Hoxie and Lawrence County.”
Abbott was a regular visitor and supporter of NEA Report. We offer our most sincere condolences to the family of this kind, gentle person.
