Victim takes action after hit-and-run

JONESBORO, Ark. – John Honda was coming home with his child from karate practice when an unaware driver ran into the side of his vehicle.

He pulled over to get insurance information, near Dupwe Street and Nettleton Avenue in Jonesboro, but when he looked behind him for the suspect vehicle which collided with him, it was fleeing. Three young girls were inside, Honda said. He tried following them but he could not catch up in time.

It will cost him hundreds in insurance deductibles to fix his vehicle but instead of settling for that, Honda is taking action. He’s trying to spread the word about the small, gray car which ran into him and he hopes the girls involved, or someone who knows them, will do the right thing.
