Fire in Randolph County destroys home

POCAHONTAS, Ark. – An evening fire destroyed a home in Randolph County on Tuesday night.

A house 1.36 miles north of the American Legion on Arkansas 251 was fully involved, Randolph County dispatch reported.

Fire crews knocked the blaze down shortly after it was reported.

Arkansas 251 was shut down, nearby, and traffic was being routed around Country Club Road.

On Twitter, user Darren Medlock (@medlock15) Tweeted an incredible photo, showing flames devouring the structure.

The structure was a total loss.

As is procedure with this type of situation, the fire is being investigated by local authorities. No one was reported injured in the blaze.
