JONESBORO, Ark. – Two men robbed Sonic Drive-In on Johnson Avenue in Jonesboro Wednesday night.
Jonesboro police officers were flagged down at about 11:10 p.m. Wednesday night, just after they had taken money out of the safe in preparation for the nightly deposit many businesses make at the end of their day.
However, it was then two black men, one with a “long gun,” either a shotgun or rifle, were reported to have came into the business and delivered the cash before it could be taken to the bank.
The men were seen leaving to the south, crossing through a mini storage parking lot. JPD attempted to track the suspects with K9 units in that direction, but were unsuccessful.
The suspects were described as wearing all black with hoods on. Their faces were described as completely covered but their hands were not.
