Vehicle strikes building in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – A vehicle struck a building early Friday afternoon in Jonesboro.

It happened at the 200-block of Church Street, between Huntington and Cate, according to Jonesboro Police Department Information Specialist Paul Holmes.

Holmes said the driver told officers he dropped something in the floorboard, looked down to pick it up and the next thing he knew, he was crashing into a building.

It appeared the vehicle sustained most of the damage.

Both the driver and occupant refused medical treatment, Holmes said.
