WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — A motorcyclist was killed Oct. 18, 2026, after the motorcycle struck the trailer of a commercial truck on eastbound Interstate 40 near mile marker 277, Arkansas State Police said in a preliminary summary.

Arkansas State Police identified the rider as Lorenzo Kozenskie of Absecon, N.J. He was the driver of a 2022 Harley-Davidson listed as Vehicle 1 in the agency summary.

The agency said traffic was slowing due to congestion when Vehicle 1 failed to stop and struck the trailer of a 2024 Freightliner that was also eastbound on I-40. The summary notes weather was clear and the road surface was dry.

Trooper Dylan Evans (178) is listed as the investigating officer. This account is a preliminary Arkansas State Police summary and should not be taken as a final finding of fault.
