PARAGOULD, Ark. — Medic One plans to expand into Greene County, the ambulance service announced in a Facebook post, citing a partnership with St. Bernards aimed at expanding health care access and providing timely mutual aid during emergencies.
The company described the expansion as “coming soon” but did not announce a start date.
Medic One said the move follows its growth across Northeast Arkansas, Southeast Missouri and the St. Louis area.
The company said it intends to work with emergency medical services professionals, first responders, health care providers and public safety agencies already serving Greene County.
“At the heart of EMS is the spirit of people helping people, and we see endless opportunities to work together and support one another,” Medic One said in the announcement.
Medic One described its goal as being a supportive community partner and building relationships with existing providers. The announcement did not specify a station location, staffing levels or the full scope of services planned for Greene County.
