PARAGOULD, Ark. — A Paragould suspect was arrested after police said a pregnant victim reported that he pushed her while his hand was on her neck during a domestic disturbance with two young children inside the home.
Taylor A. Quinn, 25, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic battery, a Class D felony, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, a misdemeanor.
According to a probable cause affidavit from the Paragould Police Department, officers responded April 6, 2026, to the 900 block of West Park Street for a domestic disturbance.
Police said the alleged victim told officers she and Quinn had been involved in a physical altercation stemming from an argument before officers arrived. The alleged victim said Quinn pushed her while his hand was at her neck and then hit her, according to the affidavit.
Officers noted Quinn had a bite mark on his right arm, and the victim told police she bit him and hit him to get Quinn off her, the affidavit said.
According to police, Quinn provided information that officers said corroborated parts of the victim’s account, though he said he pushed her to get them away from him.
After speaking with both parties, officers learned the victim was pregnant, according to the affidavit. Police also said the victim and Quinn’s children, ages 8 months and 3, were inside the home during the altercation.
At the police department, officers photographed an injury around the victim’s left eye, according to the affidavit. After further investigation, police said Quinn admitted that during the argument he pushed the victim by her neck and demonstrated how he did it, but denied hitting her.
Bail was set at $25,000 cash or surety with a no-contact order in place.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
