Jonesboro Male Arrested on Terroristic Threatening Charge After Alleged Threats

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro man was arrested following alleged threats made toward his estranged wife, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Jonesboro Police Department.

According to the affidavit, on Jan. 16, 2026, the alleged victim went to the Jonesboro Police Department to report threats to her life. The victim showed officers several text messages she said were sent by her estranged husband, Reynaldo R. Hill.

The affidavit states the messages included statements such as, “I’m gonna find you,” and that Hill would come to her workplace. The victim also reported that shortly before making the report, Hill came to her home looking for her, but she was not there.

The victim further told officers that Hill contacted her sister, asking where she was. When the sister told Hill she did not know, the affidavit states Hill made the statement, “I’m gonna kill that bitch,” and lifted his shirt to show he had a pistol tucked into his waistband.

Officers later contacted Hill and took him into custody without incident, according to the affidavit.

Reynaldo R. Hill, 44, of Jonesboro, was arrested on a charge of first-degree terroristic threatening, a Class D felony. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or surety.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
