15 Years in Prison for Woman Arrested With Over 9,000 Fentanyl Pills

JONESBORO, Ark. — A mother and her son, who faced severe charges through Jonesboro after a probable cause affidavit alleged the drug task force arrested them with almost 10,000 pills containing fentanyl, have both resolved their criminal cases.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, Fayerita Sills, 49, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of trafficking of fentanyl, a Class B felony, and possession of a firearm by certain persons, a Class D felony. The other charges were nolle prosequi by the state. Sills was sentenced to 15 years (180 months) in the Arkansas Department of Corrections on the fentanyl charge. She received 120 months suspended sentence for both the fentanyl and the firearm charges.

On June 20, 2025, Treveis Davenport pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, with the purpose to deliver, and theft by receiving of a firearm, both Class D felonies. The remaining charges were nolle prosequi. He was sentenced to 36 months’ probation.

On October 9, 2024, agents with the Second Judicial District Drug Task Force set up surveillance at 2400 Glenn Place, the residence of Fayerita Sills. The PC affidavit says a search warrant had previously been signed for the residence, along with bench warrants for Sills over the delivery of fentanyl allegations.

Court documents for Sills show how police ended up at the residence.

Agents witnessed her son, Treveis Lewilliam Davenport, pull up to the residence, park, and enter through a west side door. He then left the residence and returned a short time later. A female, identified as Sills, exited the residence and entered his vehicle’s passenger side. The agents knew the vehicle had unconfirmed insurance and Davenport had a suspended diver’s license.

The Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop and took Sills into custody for her warrants. Davenport was arrested for driving on suspension. A handgun belonging to Davenport was also seized.

Sills denied giving a key to investigators, so forced entry was made. A Ruger LCP 380 was found in the top dresser drawer, confirmed stolen out of the area. In her closest, agents found suspected Fentanyl pills in the pocket of a vest. More pills were found in a jacket pocket.

In the room across from Sills, police found Davenport’s ID and several articles of paperwork in his name, along with a stolen 7.62 x 39 rifle. Another rifle was found in an upstairs bedroom.

Police located zip-lock bags containing large quantities of pills, including Oxycodone, Alprazolam, and Adderall. Cocaine was also located. Agents then field-tested each of the different pills, resulting in many testing positive for Fentanyl, even though they were identified as different substances. Many street drugs are cut with Fentanyl to increase the potency of the effects. However, this often results in accidental overdoses from those unaware.

In total, 9,490 pills were tested positive for Fentanyl, the PC affidavit states. There were 614 Oxycodone pills, 441 Xanax, 769 grams of marijuana, and 52.6 grams of cocaine.
