PARAGOULD, Ark. — A woman was arrested after police say she attempted to strike multiple people with a vehicle in Paragould, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Officers with the Paragould Police Department responded to the 200 block of East Court Street on Dec. 22, 2025, after receiving a report of a woman attempting to run someone over.
According to the affidavit, officers made contact with two individuals who reported that someone they knew, identified as Bridget M. Upton, attempted to run them over with a vehicle. One of the individuals told officers they had to pull the other person out of the way to avoid being struck.
