PARAGOULD, Ark. — A woman was taken into custody after police say she intentionally hit her husband with a vehicle at a busy Paragould intersection before fleeing.
According to the probable-cause narrative, officers were dispatched Nov. 21 to the intersection of Highway 49 North and Country Club Road for a vehicle-versus-pedestrian call. The alleged victim told officers that his wife, identified as potential defendant Felisha Woodson, had purposely struck him with her vehicle before leaving the scene.
Multiple witnesses, along with intersection camera footage, corroborated the victim’s account. The affidavit states that on Nov. 24, Greene County sheriff’s deputies located Woodson and took her into custody.
Felisha Woodson, 35, of Paragould, was arrested on a charge of second-degree domestic battering, a Class C felony.
Bail had not yet been set at the time of this report.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
