POINSETT COUNTY, Ark. — Authorities in Poinsett County are asking for the public’s help in solving a residential burglary and theft that occurred on Bay Village Road, as well as an attempted break-in at a nearby home.
According to the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office, someone broke into a home between April 28 and April 29 and stole several firearms along with an Xbox Series S. Witnesses in the area reported seeing a light gray four-door truck and a red truck with a toolbox in the back around the time of the incident.
Deputies were later called to another home on Bay Village Road on the morning of May 4 for a report of an attempted break-in. The suspect reportedly tried to force entry but was unsuccessful.
