BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. – Police recovered at least one stolen vehicle from a car trailer transport on Monday traveling through Mississippi County, a release from the Blytheville Police Department said.
On December 9, 2024, agents with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force were patrolling the area of S. Division near I-55 when they observed a car trailer transporting six vehicles, a Lamborghini Urus, a Porsche Panorama, and two 2025 GMC Pick-ups. The Agents recognized the vehicles were wrapped in saran wrap and had indications that they were coming from a vehicle auction. Agents then contacted Arkansas State Police Highway Patrol for additional assistance.
Troopers with the Arkansas State Police were able to effect a traffic stop on the transport vehicle. The transport vehicle driver granted law enforcement access to look at the cars. Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigations Division was then notified to assist. Upon inspection of the Lamborghini, the VIN was suspected to be fraudulent. A true VIN was discovered within the vehicle and the vehicle was confirmed to be stolen from Sarasota, Florida. The Porsche Panorama is still being investigated.
The approximate value of the property recovered is $460,000.
This recovery was a collaborative effort by agents of the Second Judicial Drug Task Force, troopers of the Arkansas State Highway Patrol Unit, investigators of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigations Division, and investigators of the Blytheville Criminal Investigations Division.
