Ten Arrested during ‘Operation British Invasion’ in Poinsett County

TRUMANN, Ark. — The Trumann Police Department, in collaboration with the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas Community Corrections, conducted an operation on Wednesday, February 7, resulting in the arrest of multiple suspects.

Among those apprehended are Yuzanna Foxx, Douglas Brown, Thomas Roberts, Samantha Parker, Heath Raymond, Kathy Burgess, Joseph Doyle, Shane O’Brien, and Eric Cook, all residents of Trumann.

During the operation, four arrest warrants were executed, and law enforcement seized 65 grams of methamphetamine, 12.2 grams of schedule IV pills, a glass pipe, scales, and a needle. The suspects will remain in custody pending a Probable Cause Hearing.

Named “Operation British Invasion,” the operation coincided with the 60th anniversary of the Beatles’ arrival in the United States, marking the beginning of the British Invasion of music in the 1960s. Each team involved in the operation was named after one of the Beatles.

Trumann Police Chief Jonathan Redman expressed gratitude for the operation’s success and reiterated the department’s commitment to combating drug-related activities in the community.
