WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. – A murder has occurred in West Memphis.
At approximately 10:21 PM on May 5, officers responded to the 600 block of South Redding in reference to shots being fired, a release from the police department said. Upon their arrival on the scene, they located a black male gunshot victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. EMS made the scene and transported the gunshot victim to Regional One where he succumbed to his injuries.
The male victim was identified as Orlando Ingram (20) of West Memphis. Detectives made the scene to begin their preliminary investigation and process the crime scene.
This is an ongoing investigation and no arrests have been made as of this publication (5:30 AM).
