Search warrants in Searcy, Judsonia lead to major drug stash

SEARCY, Ark. – A major suspected drug dealing operation was busted up this week in White County, the sheriff’s office said.

On March 20, 2023 at about 6:00 pm, Agents with the 17th Judicial Drug Task Force along with White County Sheriff’s Deputies and Searcy Police Officer served search warrants simultaneously at two separate undisclosed locations in Searcy and Judsonia. The search warrant was served stemming from a 6-month long investigation.

The search warrant yielded 14 pounds of methamphetamine (some wrapped in mustard), several thousand fentanyl pills, 14 grams of cocaine, Marijuana, Psychedelic Mushrooms, 4 loaded firearms of which one was stolen, $4,000 dollars in cash generated from sales of narcotics. Agents also seized one vehicle.

Cameron Riley Ward, 23, of Searcy was arrested and has been charged with Possession of Meth of Cocaine with the Purpose to Deliver, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule 1 or 2 NOT Meth or Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule 4 with Purpose to Deliver and Theft by Receiving.

This is an ongoing investigation. Additional charges and arrests are anticipated as this case further develops.
