At approximately 8:00 PM, members of the West Memphis Police Department’s Special Response Team executed a “vehicle assault” in the area of South Avalon and West Tyler Avenue, taking Moten into custody without incident. Police say Moten was in possession of a Glock firearm equipped with a Glock Switch at the time of his arrest. Such a device turns the weapon into an automatic.
