JONESBORO, Ark. – Great news for the residents of Hardy means bad news for the folks in Jonesboro: Bob & Sandy’s Beach Club BBQ is leaving Jonesboro to return to their Hardy location.
February will be the last month, the popular Facebook post said.
“We have enjoyed meeting new customers and making new friends,” The post said. “We hope you will stop in and see us if you are ever in Hardy. Thank you for a great year!”
The reaction to the news seemed positive or negative depending on where the comment author lived.
“I’m sorry for Jonesboro but soooooo very happy for us Spring River folks,” wrote Joy Underwood.
“I hate to hear this,” Stacy Murry wrote. “Our Century 21 crew won’t know where to go! I for sure will be coming to see you when I’m at our office in Hardy!!”
Bob & Sandy’s was located in Hardy for 37 years before moving to Jonesboro. At 4.9/5 stars on Facebook (with 167 reviews), they’re one of the highest rated BBQ restaurants in northeast Arkansas.
