WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – It’s a chance for the public to become involved in the idea of consolidating Hoxie and Walnut Ridge.
At 6 p.m. this Thursday, March 2, at the MAC Center in Walnut Ridge the Economic Impact Committee will provide their findings using a PowerPoint presentation, according to Walnut Ridge Mayor Charles Snapp.
The public is invited.
As stated, the presentation will be held in the MAC Center, located at the Corner of S.W. 2nd Street and West Pine Street, which is the southwest corner of the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
The session will be considered a work session for the City Council. The City Council will not be called to order but members will be allowed to asked committee members questions about their findings and listen to others attending the presentation.
The Economic Impact Committee was established in 2016, to consider the impact a consolidation between Hoxie and Walnut Ridge would have on the City of Walnut Ridge.
