Stacy’s Sweetheart Social raises money for Paragould Children’s Home

LORADO, Ark. – For the second year, a Valentine’s Day event was held to honor the memory of a loving member of the community while at the same time, raising money for a good cause.

Stacy’s Sweetheart Social was held at Lorado Grocery on Tuesday, with a sold out crowd helping to fill the country store at the intersection of Arkansas 141 and Arkansas 168.

The event, held in memory of Stacy Quintana, raised $834.76 for the Paragould Children’s Home.

Stacy was the manager of Lorado Grocery, in addition to being the sister of co-owner Angela Pugsley who, along with her husband Randy, operate the store.

Stacy was murdered in Dec. 2015 in a murder-for-hire plot hatched by her estranged ex-husband, according to authorities. Three have been sentenced in the case already, with the ex-husband, Charles Quintana, facing trial later this year.
