Walnut Ridge City Council agenda for Monday, Jan. 16

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – No new amendments are up for a vote in the first council meeting of 2017 in Walnut Ridge.

Several subjects will be discussed or updated, instead.

In the only item of old business, the Ritter Franchise Agreement (pending legal opinion) will be approached. 

In new business, the State of The City address will take place. Then, discussion will take place on a high pressure water system for fire protection at Industrial Park.

Next, discussion of the Walnut Ridge Police Department backing up the Hoxie Police Department will take place. Specifically, the agenda mentions liability issues.

Discussion will be had on trees and drainage. An update on the College City consolidation will be had. Tornado siren bids will be up and then an update on the Walnut Ridge Community Center will conclude the meeting.
