
CLAY COUNTY, Ark. – A county-wide probation and parole sweep in Clay County ended in six arrests, according Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller.
It happened Thursday, Jan. 5. Authorities conducted numerous probation and parole home checks and searches, the sheriff reported. Six individuals were arrested on warrants and drug related charges.
Deputies with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department along with officers with Arkansas Community Corrections, Piggott Police Department and Corning Police Department received assistance from the Paragould Police Department’s K9 unit and Arkansas Community Corrections’ Special Response Team.
Sheriff Miller thanked the Arkansas Community Corrections, the Paragould Police Department, the Piggott Police Department, and the Corning Police Department for their assistance.
