
JONESBORO, Ark. – Two people are dead in Jonesboro and foul play is involved.
After 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jonesboro Police Department responded en masse to the 200-block of Miller Street where two people were reportedly killed. Police were called to the scene by a relative of one of the victims.
JPD’s Information Specialist Paul Holmes said “obvious foul play” was suspected.
Police have identified the victims as Kenny Coleman, 57, and Charles Jones, 52. Officers believe the two men were shot to death. Their bodies have been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsy.
As of 12:05 a.m. Thursday, detectives were still on the scene, piecing together the events of the evening. Holmes said they were being “very thorough.”
As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, no arrests had been made in the case.
