JONESBORO, Ark. – The Hays Clothing Stores will be closing, including the relatively new location in Jonesboro – but another business is taking its place.
Tech Friends, Inc. of Jonesboro will purchase the building at 2215 East Highland Drive in Jonesboro, NEA Report learned Monday.
Tech Friends specializes in prison technology and hardware, ranging from kiosks, booking, commissary, or communications.
Hays Clothing Stores announced last week it would close all three of its locations in Northeast Arkansas. The location in Jonesboro, formerly a Coca-Cola plant for decades, was extensively remodeled in 2015 before opening in time for the holidays. It’s closure would be announced a year later.
