
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – While parents took their children off to school Friday, many needed a boat instead of a vehicle.
Water levels rose across Northeast Arkansas because of persistent rainfall.
Both the Black River at Black Rock and Black River at Pocahontas were at minor flooding stages with no sign of water going down soon.
Black River at Corning hovered at action stage on Friday and was forecasted to remain there without reaching minor flooding until Monday.
