
JONESBORO, Ark. – A rash of break-ins occurred at a trucking company over the weekend.
Jonesboro police were notified Monday morning, July 4th, around 10 a.m at Saia Motor Freight, 8210 Jake Drive in Jonesboro. The manager informed them between Saturday, July 2, and that morning, someone broke into at least 18 trailers.
It was unknown what all may have been stolen at the time of the report, as manifests must be compared and reviewed.
Sometime, between July 2 and Tuesday morning, July 5, crooks also struck Averitt transportation, at 5940 East Highland Drive in Jonesboro. Several bay doors were unlocked and trailers broken into.
It is not known if these two incidents are related.
Suspects face multiple charges for the crime, including felonies.
