JONESBORO, Ark. – A small aircraft made an unexpected stop in the backyard of a Jonesboro church Friday afternoon.
The ultralight plane made an emergency landing behind Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro when a fuel line broke mid-flight, said Jonesboro Police Department Information Specialist Paul Holmes.
Holmes said the emergency landing happened just alongside ditch that crosses Dupwe Street behind Walnut Street Baptist Church.
The plane flipped when it landed. Fortunately for the pilot, he was uninjured in the accident.
