Suspect(s) break into Gee Street Mall early Friday

JONESBORO, Ark. – Window glass was shattered, the store was vandalized and items were stolen including three pellet guns sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday, June 16 and 8 a.m. Friday morning.

It happened at the Gee Street Mall, a flea market at 304 South Gee Street in Jonesboro. Two black pellet rifles and a wooden stock pellet rifle were stolen, along with cash and an unknown amount of items from other booths.

The owner reported the suspected commercial burglary when he arrived at the store Friday morning at about 8 a.m.

Suspects were believed to have had trouble getting into the store after breaking a window out, the officer reported observing.

The suspects could face felony and misdemeanor charges if apprehended. Contact police if you have any information.
