from Walnut Ridge Mayor Charles Snapp
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. — Monday, June 20th, from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., residents of Walnut Ridge and College City will be asked to review three alternatives for redistricting the consolidated towns of Walnut Ridge and College City, as set forth by ACA 14-40-1205.
James Walden from Garver and Associates was selected as an impartial individual to offer three proposals for new wards in the Consolidated City of Walnut Ridge. Attached below are the three alternatives for redistricting. Each alternative has a data sheet and a map to accompany the data sheet.
The way the proposed ordinance is set up, the Walnut Ridge City Council will select one of the three and insert that number is the proposed ordinance. The map and data sheet for that particular alternative will be attached as a part of the ordinance, that is scheduled for council consideration on June 20th at 6 p.m. at the Walnut Ridge City Council meeting.
