Aggravated Robbery Reported at Blytheville’s Cherry Tree Mart

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. – Authorities in Mississippi County are searching for several suspects in a robbery involving gunfire from over the weekend in Blytheville.

At approximately 6:30 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2024, officers from the Blytheville Police Department rushed to Cherry Tree Mart on Chickasawba St following reports of an aggravated robbery. Upon arrival, officers engaged with the store clerk, who recounted being confronted by three black males wearing face coverings and gloves.

According to the clerk, one of the assailants brandished a long rifle and discharged a round before the trio proceeded to take various items from the store shelves. The suspects fled the scene after the robbery.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to promptly contact the Blytheville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 870-763-4411 or Crime Stoppers at 844-910-STOP.

The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement endeavors to bring the perpetrators to justice.
