PARAGOULD, Ark. — A registered sex offender was arrested after a traffic stop in Paragould led officers to discover narcotics and an unregistered social media account.
According to a probable cause affidavit from the Paragould Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop March 8, 2026, on a vehicle driven by Brian Matthew Lamb, 39, after he failed to signal at least 100 feet before changing lanes.
During the stop, officers learned Lamb was under supervised imposition of sentence (SIS) with a search waiver on file. After searching the vehicle, officers conducted a search of Lamb’s residence.
Investigators reported locating 1028.9 grams of potpourri identified as a Schedule VI narcotic, 2.1 grams of hydrocodone (7.5 milligrams), and 8.6 grams of hydrocodone (10 milligrams), both Schedule II narcotics. Officers also found several baggies used to package the potpourri and two sets of digital scales that reportedly had residue from the substance.
While reviewing Lamb’s cell phone, officers also discovered he had an active TikTok account that had not been registered with the sex offender coordinator for the City of Paragould, as required.
Lamb was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, two counts, both Class C felonies; possession of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia; possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with purpose to deliver, a Class C felony; and failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements, a Class C felony.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
