Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas to Hold USDA Food Distributions Across Poinsett County on Dec. 3

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host a series of drive-thru USDA food distributions in Poinsett County on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.

Three locations will participate:

  • Marked Tree Fire Station, 102 Liberty St., Marked Tree — 9–10 a.m. or until food runs out
  • Trumann Sports Complex, 16179 Pecan Grove, Trumann — 9–10 a.m. or until food runs out
  • Lepanto City Hall, 900 Alexander Ave., Lepanto — 11 a.m.–12 p.m. or until food runs out

Households must live in Poinsett County and are eligible to receive USDA foods once per month. Recipients must meet income guidelines set by The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Eligibility may be self-declared by providing a name, address, family size and combined monthly income for the household.

USDA foods may only be picked up for another qualified household if the recipient has been previously authorized to do so. Individuals picking up for a shut-in, elderly person or other eligible household must present signed authorization containing the name, address, family size and combined monthly income of the household receiving the food. Case workers picking up for large groups must arrange distribution plans with the Food Bank in advance.

Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
