Two shot Thursday night in Jonesboro

On Thursday, November 8, 2018 Officers with the Jonesboro Police Department received a call requesting they respond to the 2800 block of Piedmont Cv. At approximately 6:20 pm Officers were called to the home in response to two subjects there being shot.

Once there, officers contacted two victims. One victim is a 26 year old male and the other is a 16 year old female and both had sustained non life-threatening injuries. Both Victims received medical attention on the scene and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital to continue medical care and are considered to be in stable condition.

Detectives were called to the scene of the shooting where the home was processed for evidence. This is an active investigation and Detectives are working to develop suspect information.

As of Friday, November 9, 2018 the 26 year old male victim had been treated for his injuries and then released from medical care. The 16 year old female requires more involved treatment and remains in the care of hospital staff.
