Real estate development workshop at city hall

JONESBORO, Ark. – A residential and business real estate developers’ workshop will be held 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in City Council chambers at the Municipal Center, 300 S. Church St.

Any builder, developer or other person involved in real estate development in Jonesboro is welcome to attend. City Planner Derrel Smith and representatives of the city’s planning, engineering, inspections and fire departments will make presentations and be available for comments.

City personnel have been working for several months to improve the flow of the development process and have updated procedures. This event will explain how the process works and allow stakeholders to review it and ask questions.

For further information, email or call Smith at 870-932-0406 or derrel.smith@jonesboro.org.
