A murder suicide happened in November, the sheriff’s office announced on Jan. 7.
Harp grew up on his family’s farm in Strawberry, Arkansas. He graduated from Strawberry High School in a class of 27 in 1939. Soon after high school he met his wife Pauline. They were married for about a year when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and Harp was drafted into the U.S. Army.
They collected a record setting 3,800 toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues for the families who stay as guests at the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis.
Conditions were rainy while roads were wet at the time of the wreck, reported state police.
