
JONESBORO, Ark. — In a concerning turn of events, two pizza delivery drivers were robbed this week while making deliveries to the same street in Jonesboro.
The first incident occurred late at night on October 2 when a Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver, a 45-year-old Jonesboro man, reported being robbed at gunpoint after 11 p.m. The incident took place in the 3500 block of Race Street. According to the driver, the suspect is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. The assailant made off with a pizza, as indicated in the police report.
In a separate incident around 8 p.m. on October 3, another robbery occurred at the same location, the 3500-block of Race Street. This time, a 26-year-old Pizza Hut employee was the victim. The unknown suspect pointed a gun at the driver’s face and stole pizza. The driver described the suspect as a slender individual standing approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall. Unfortunately, the driver could not provide further details about the suspect’s sex, race, or other identifying features.
The suspect in these cases could potentially face serious felony charges, including aggravated robbery.
