JONESBORO – A local resident faces serious felony charges after allegedly assaulting his 71-year-old father this week.
The incident took place between 4:10 and 5 PM on August 8 at a residence located on the 3600-block of Oakridge Drive. According to the report, the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Jordan E. Marshall of Jonesboro, allegedly struck his father, causing visible injuries. The victim suffered from swelling around the neck and head area.
In the process of arresting Marshall, officers found him in possession of a small amount of meth. As a result, he now faces multiple felony charges: drug possession, domestic battering, and terroristic threatening.
