NEA Baptist Recognized with Multiple Awards

Jonesboro, Ark. – NEA Baptist recently earned new awards through The American College of Cardiology and The American Heart Association for outstanding patient care. The 2021 American College of Cardiology NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Achievement Award places NEA Baptist in one of the top 212 hospitals nationwide in implementing a higher standard of heart attack care. The cardiac team is placed in an even higher category as receiving this award for the 3rd consecutive year.

NEA Baptist has also been awarded an upgrade in status by the American Heart Association as a Gold Plus, Target Stroke Elite Honor Roll, and Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll Get With The Guidelines award.

Stroke is the No. 5 cause of death and a leading cause of adult disability in the U.S. On average, someone in the U.S. suffers a stroke every 40 seconds, and nearly 795,000 people suffer a new or recurrent stroke each year. Early stroke detection and treatment are key to improving survival, minimizing disability and speeding recovery times.

Get With The Guidelines-Stroke was developed to assist healthcare professionals to provide the most up-to-date, research-based guidelines for treating stroke patients.  To receive the award, NEA Baptist utilizes a combination of process improvement, Artificial Intelligence and a team which consistently functions at a high level to treat stroke patients faster than most hospitals in the state.  Last year, the stroke team at NEA Baptist achieved the second-fastest door to TPA delivery in the state of Arkansas.

“I’m extremely proud of the work being performed by our teams to ensure that each patient gets the best possible care. Heart attack and stroke are two crucial health events where execution can directly impact future quality of life. The awards received are proof to us that the work being done by our men and women in these departments are providing our community members the highest standard of care, right here in Northeast Arkansas”, said Sam Lynd, CEO of NEA Baptist.

NEA Baptist Health System comprises NEA Baptist Clinic, NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, and NEA Baptist Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care. The 228-bed hospital offers cancer care, heart care through the Heart Center, labor and delivery services through the hospital’s Women’s Center, as well as a number of inpatient and outpatient services, emergency care, and surgical services including weight loss surgery, neurology, respiratory care, and pulmonary rehabilitation. 1. What a crock. Any place or organization is only as good as the worst person and they’ve got some evil SOBs working there, should never be allowed to mess with helpless patients and god is gonna get their sorry butts for the rotten things they are doing, especially everybody walking around claiming to be Christians and acting like satanists. Typical these days but worse because they are hurting so many folks.

  2. They stay in trouble, rotten place, rotten people. You know, the kind of place the crazies all like.

  3. Nice job of cut-and-paste and it’s good you cared enough to try, but from most of the comments I see here it’s not going to help many, if any at all. Look at all the filth the children of Satan put on here; doesn’t matter what the subject is they use this site as a place to spread the corruption from their diseased minds. Keep trying. Because God is merciful the time for witnessing is growing short. Maranatha.
