Jonesboro Police are investigating a couple of shootings that occurred Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning, a release posted to social media said.
The first call came in around 3:33 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Officers responded to the Links Appartments and Caraway road area after callers advised dispatch that multiple shots had been heard. A male victim was admitted to an area hospital with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. His injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.
Officers later responded to NEA Baptist Hospital when two victims, a male, and a female, with apparent gunshot wounds, were admitted Sunday morning around 12:06 a.m. Officers later developed a possible crime scene on Kristal Drive in south Jonesboro. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time.
No suspects in either crime have been arrested.
