Several large felony drug arrests have been made in the month of August by the Second Judicial District Drug Task Force-North with the asssistance of numerous law enforcement agencies.
On August 13th, agents with DTF-North, along with detectives from the Pocahontas Police Department and inspectors with the United States Postal Inspection Service, used information received from a federal indictment arrest earlier in the week to intercept a large quantity of methamphetamine attempting to be delivered to an address in the City of Paragould. Agents participated in a controlled delivery to the address. Shortly after, they made contact with two individuals in the home that disclosed they were aware of the contents of the package: 121.5 grams of methamphetamine.
Two individuals were arrested and booked into the Greene County Detention Center for charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver 10g-200g, a Class A Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Due to the use of the United States Postal Service, federal charges could also stem from this arrest.
On August 15th, Agents with 2nd Judicial DTF-North, along with deputies from Randolph and Greene County Sheriff’s Departments and officers with the Paragould Police Department, received information that Brent West, a level-three registered sex offender who was wanted for probation/parole absconding, was located at the Kum and Go in Paragould. Agents with the 2nd Judicial DTF-North, along with deputies from the Greene and Randolph County Sheriff’s Departments and officers with the Paragould Police Department, made contact with West. After a short foot pursuit, Brent West was taken into custody and a baggie of methamphetamine weighing approximately 10 grams was located on his person. He is currently being held at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department for charges of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine 10g-200g, a class B felony in the State of Arkansas, along with a hold for his absconding through Arkansas Probation and Parole.
On August 17th, a Deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for crossing the center line and driving in a hazardous manner off Highway 34 West in Greene County. Once the vehicle stopped, the driver, Dale Jackson, convicted felon currently on probation in the State of Arkansas, exited the vehicle and began fleeing on foot. As he fled, Dale Jackson threw a face mask that contained approximately 127 grams of methamphetamine along with 1.2 grams of ecstasy. Elizabeth Warner, convicted felon currently on federal probation, was the passenger of the vehicle. Agents with the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force North conducted a search of Ms. Warner’s residence where they located a loaded 9mm handgun. Ms. Warner was charged with possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, and possession of a controlled substance, ecstasy. An arrest warrant was issued for Dale Jackson for the same charges, along with fleeing, and he is still wanted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. He also has felony warrants for failure to appear in Circuit Court of Greene County.
The Second Judicial District Drug Task Force-North, a division of the Second Judicial District Drug Task Force formed in 2020, is made up of officers from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Paragould Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Piggott Police Department, and Corning Police Department. The Second Judicial District Drug Task Force, formed in 1990, includes law enforcment agencies in Craighead, Greene, Clay, Mississippi, and Poinsett Counties at the city, county, state, and federal level.
All individuals arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The police just shot an unarmed man in the back in front of his three children, check the news. It won’t be long before they do this in Craighead county! Remember year’s ago in Jonesboro when a Mexican gentleman shot himself in the head after being handcuffed behind his back and then placed into the squad car? Impossible!!!

Harassing people riding scooter’s in town until they aquire additional paperwork that they DON’T NEED in order to legally own and operate a scooter in the state of Arkansas!
I’ve been told by several scooter driver’s that once they make the unnecessary payment to DMV and county clerk, they are harassed no more! Sound’s like the cartel or mafia to me, anyone else?
