JONESBORO, Ark. – One person was injured in a shooting early Sunday in Jonesboro.
Jonesboro Police were investigating an early morning shooting that occurred around State Street, said a release Sunday.
Officers responded to the area around 2 am and discovered a gunshot victim. That victim was transported to a local hospital. Details are limited at this time.
A suspect was later arrested in the early morning shooting that occurred in the 1800 block of Cedar Heights.
Steve Deshaun Clark was arrested and placed in custody of CCDC around 2 p.m. He will be charged with Battery-1st Degree and Criminal Contempt at his Probable Cause Hearing this week.
The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
