POCAHONTAS, Ark. – The Imperial Dinner Theatre in Pocahontas is on a mission to get families out of the house, away from their smartphones, and around a table for a memorable night.
Featuring only quality entertainment suitable for the entire family, the Imperial is a non-profit group which brings culture and enriches the community in Pocahontas. Located across from Black River Technical College on Highway 304 East just as you come into town, the Imperial will be featuring “Annie the Musical” in April.
“‘The sun will come out tomorrow’ is the catchphrase of the perky little orphan who wraps Daddy Warbucks around her little finger! Despite the mean Miss Hannigan’s attempts, Annie and her little dog Sandy find the happiness they deserve.”
On weekdays and Saturdays, dinner is served at 6:30 and the show is at 7:30. On Sundays, dinner is served at 1:00 and the show is at 2:00. For group rates for 20 or more, call the office at 870-892-0030. Shows are set to begin Saturday, April 22.

Drama Instructor Shane Cummins said the production, but also The Imperial itself, is very important to him.
“The Imperial is a big part of my family’s life, and I love sharing with everyone,” Cummings said.
