15-year-old caught shoplifting at Dillards

JONESBORO, Ark. – Criminal behavior seems to know no age restrictions in Jonesboro.

On Saturday, at 5:44 p.m., Jonesboro Police Department dispatched Officer Tyler Wilson to The Mall at Turtle Creek, 3000 East Highland Drive, after security caught a shoplifter, according to the report.

The girl, 15, was observed placing polo shirts in a bag and attempting to leave before an employee stopped her.

The girl, already on juvenile probation, was released to her mother and cited. The mother was advised to contact her probation officer on the following Monday.

The merchandise was returned to the store.
