JONESBORO – Arkansas State University will host its first TEDx presentations this Sunday, Jan. 29.
The event at Fowler Center’s Riceland Hall, 201 Olympic Dr., has attracted nine talented and persuasive speakers, who begin their program at 2 p.m.
The theme this year is “Results May Vary,” according to Claudio Eduardo Pinto, instructor in Spanish and TEDx organizer. “TEDx will bring together innovative thinkers from across the university and larger community to explore ideas for our collective future.”
Expanding on the theme, Eduardo added, “This re-appropriated colloquialism encompasses the idea that each TEDx experience is wholly individual. Results will vary greatly from this think tank of innovation.”
Speakers who are scheduled for TEDx at A-State are: Brett Dush, David Ware, David White, Jim Gunnell, Fabricio Medina-Bolivar, Reagan Williams, John Norris, Melissa Wilkinson and Kirsten Hazlewood.
