JONESBORO, Ark. – Criminals with roof intentions made off with a heavy load of property from a Jonesboro store recently.

After regular hours on Dec. 14, a truck with a trailer attached pulled up to the bull pin of Lowe’s in Jonesboro. With a suspect cutting the padlock to the gates, the trailer was driven into the bull pin. Approximately 78 boxes of roofing shingles were loaded up into the trailer before the suspects drove off.

The stolen property was valued at close to $1,700.

Video surveillance of the incident was captured but unfortunately, the quality was too low for authorities to gain a useful description.

Suspects face felony commercial burglary and felony theft charges.

Anyone with information which could help police can potentially earn cash for the tip by calling Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.

  1. Shingles aren’t sold, shipped nor categorized in “boxes”. 3 bundles make a square and a square covers 100 Sq ft.
