Property manager finds rental riddled with bullets

JONESBORO, Ark. – While preparing a rental unit he had not been to in a month, a property manager discovered the home had been shot nine times.

It happened at a home on the 1800-block of Cedar Height. Officers responded to the home Saturday, July 2, to a call about five bullet holes in a front window. The officer spoke with the property manager, who arrived to get the home ready for new tenants when he found it had been caught in the cross hairs of a gun.

While the officer inspected the home, he found four more bullet holes on the exterior of the second floor. The upstairs bath tub was hit by a round, leaving a hole in it. The manager said it would need to be replaced. The other rounds entered sheetrock.

Suspects could face felony charges including terroristic act causing property damage.
